Booking & Rates

  • Are there any benefits to booking directly?
    Yes. Guests who book through the official website can use the exclusive 10% off coupon code: “time10”. In principle, we set the official website to offer the best available rate. If you find a different rate on another platform, please contact us and we will adjust it where possible.
  • Is this the same property I saw on Airbnb or Booking.com?
    Yes. This is the official website for in the meantime HAKONE. If you found us on Airbnb, Booking.com, Instagram, or another platform, you can also check availability and book directly from this official website.
  • Where can I check availability and rates?
    Please use the Reservation button at the bottom of the screen. After selecting your dates and number of guests, you can check available dates and rates.
  • Can you issue a receipt?
    Yes. We can issue a receipt. Please let us know the required name and details after booking.
  • Can I book on the same day?
    Sorry, same-day bookings are not accepted. Please book by the day before your stay.
  • What payment methods are available?
    In principle, payment is by credit card. Bank transfer may be available if credit card payment is difficult.

Check-in & Stay Information

  • How many guests can stay?
    The property accommodates up to 8 guests. There are 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds, Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, the Japanese-style room has 3 futons, and the living room has 1 sofa bed.
  • What are the check-in and checkout times?
    Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM. Detailed check-in instructions will be provided after booking.
  • Can children stay?
    Yes. Children are welcome. Children’s equipment is available, including a children’s chair, children’s cutlery, and a baby gate.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Sorry, pets are not allowed.
  • Can students stay without an accompanying adult?
    We do not accept bookings made only by students. Please stay together with working adults.

Rooms & Facilities

  • Is there a kitchen?
    Yes. A kitchen is available. Cookware and tableware are also provided for use during your stay. Condiments such as salt, pepper, soy sauce, and cooking oil are available.
  • Is there a washer and dryer?
    Yes. A washer and dryer are available. They are useful for longer stays and family trips.
  • Is Wi-Fi available?
    Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. It can be used for workation stays, video streaming, and general internet use.
  • Can we watch TV?
    Terrestrial TV is not available. A projector / cinema area is available, so guests can enjoy streaming services. Please use your own account for streaming services.

Hot Spring, Sauna & Outdoor Facilities

  • Is there a hot spring bath?
    Yes. You can enjoy Ninotaira Onsen in the indoor bath. The spring quality is a simple hot spring, neutral, hypotonic, and high-temperature. There are no special usage conditions, and the bath is available 24 hours a day.
  • Is there a sauna?
    Yes. A sauna is available and included in the accommodation fee. Please note that outdoor facilities cannot be used from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please follow the usage hours and instructions out of consideration for the neighborhood.
  • Is there a cold plunge?
    Yes. A cold plunge is available for use after the sauna. Please use it safely and according to your physical condition.
  • Can we use the BBQ equipment?
    Yes. BBQ equipment is available and included in the accommodation fee. Outdoor facilities cannot be used from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please check the instructions provided after booking for details and precautions.
  • Can we use the fire pit?
    Yes. A fire pit is available and included in the accommodation fee. Since it involves open flames, please follow the instructions and safety precautions carefully. Outdoor facilities cannot be used from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Can we use outdoor facilities at night?
    Sorry, outdoor facilities cannot be used from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. For neighborhood consideration, facilities such as the BBQ area, sauna, and fire pit must be used only during the designated hours.

Access & Parking

  • Is parking available?
    Yes. On-site parking is available for up to 3 cars. Please note that the parking space is arranged for tandem parking. In winter, snow may fall in the area, so please come with winter tires or other appropriate winter driving equipment.
